Tom Day is a solo artist residing in Millgrove, Australia and has been creating ambient and electronic music since 2005. Characterised as “effortless and raw”, Tom’s tracks couple elegant beats and piano melodies to an array of personally collected field recordings, his style alternating between promising swells and restful plateaus. Check out his Selected Works 2 the follow up compilation to Selected Works. Having grown up on a farm on the Mornington Peninsula, Tom is strongly influenced by the ocean beaches and natural openness of his hometown. Other influences include cinematic scores by Alan Silvestri, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Thomas Newman, Hildur Guðnadóttir, John Barry, Clint Mansell, Austin Wintory & John Williams, as well as modern classical and electronic artists such as Ólafur Arnalds, Jon Hopkins, Tourist, DjRUM, The Cinematic Orchestra, Segal, Nils Frahm & Bonobo. The music of Tom Day has been used in independent film and documentaries from around the world, with clients including National Geographic, Volvo, New York Times, Momondo, Holden, Juice Media, GetUp and Tourism Victoria. Having worked on an array of joint projects with other musicians and visual artists, Tom is deeply drawn to the synthesis of sound and image. In 2018, Tom launched an ambient and drone side project under the alias sɹoɹɹᴉɯ. Rone scores the soundtrack of Xavier Giannoli´s new series for France’s leading television channel Canal+ - a fascinating electronic symphony for one of the season’s most eagerly awaited thrillers. D'Argent & De Sang (‘Of Money and Blood’ in English) is the latest creation from French producer Erwan Castex, known as Rone, famous for acclaimed albums such as ‘Room with a View’ and ‘Tohu Bohu.’ His creative work led him to be tapped to work on his first soundtrack for Frédéric Farrucci's film ‘La Nuit Venue’ in 2021, for which he won a César, quickly followed by the soundtrack to Jacques Audiard's ‘Paris, 13th District (Les Olympiades) that won him the award for Best Soundtrack at the Cannes Film Festival. The CANAL+ original series ‘D'Argent & De Sang’ (originally titled “Tikkoun”) is produced by Curiosa Films and directed by multi-César winning showrunner Xavier Giannoli, with whom Rone worked closely with to develop a subtle blend of electronic and classical sounds, a field in which Rone's reputation is well established. Newcastle-born artist Edmondson has solidified his position as a fan favorite within the DJ community, earning praise from influential names like Ben UFO, Bicep and Moxie over the past decade. With an impressive back catalogue featuring releases on Hypercolour, Me Me Me, and his own imprint Lissoms, Edmondson now steps into the spotlight once again with a 4-track EP slated for release on Seb Wildblood’s label, All My Thoughts. Headrow began his musical career as a kid playing a variety of instruments in bands, before moving on to experimenting with electronic music at university. Evoking profound emotions, Let Go intricately weaves a tapestry of deep poignancy, featuring a delicate, angelic vocal sample intertwined with an uplifting melody that is destined to move you. Headrow is an exciting new prospect in the Dance and Electronic music scene. Taking influence from the likes of D.O.D, Fred Again and Bicep, his forward thinking production skills make this London native one to watch for 2024 and beyond. Taken from the stunning album 'Cycles' - Fthmlss' vocal collaboration with talented writer - Christie, on the soulful and affecting cut 'Maelstrom'. Verdance is a York-based producer who has steadily built up a reputation with releases on several respected indie imprints and an enviable support across BBC Radio1, BBC6Music, KEXP, FIP, AppleMusic and Spotify editorial playlists. Spanning downtempo and dance music, his club-facing, tasteful productions are resonating with fans and curators alike. His remix enters with driving kicks and tribal atmospheric synth cuts introduce the rework before a drop of left field dance beats hook you in to Verdance's dancefloor imagination, flipping vocals and melodies to get you moving. Teho is used to making a strong impression with his impressive live performances, mainly for the prestigious YouTube Channel Cercle. Thanks to a unique sound built through the Techno power as well as the delicacy of acoustic music, he knows how to make crowds enter his intimate cocoon brimming with energy. Restrained, majestic and atmospheric, Teho once again displays his rich understanding of complex and nuanced production, taking us on a deep dive through sweeping synths, crisp drums and roof-raising euphoria. German-born, Turkish producer and vocalist Bákayan now looks to grab 2024 by the horns as he lands on esteemed German imprint Stil vor Talent for his latest debut transmission, Fireflies. Exponent of a sound both entrancingly deep and straight out dynamic, the in-demand, Berlin-based artist has been honing his skills putting out nostalgia-soaked material designed for both the dance floor and daydreaming in equal measure. This new delivery serves up everything that Bákayan is about, and is the perfect mix of contemplative escapology. Myd’s summer 2020 classic Together We Stand gets the Tulum housey-vibe remix thanks to Paris’ secret weapons and dance floor burners Chambord. You might have heard this remix during Keinemusik parties, already heavily supported by &me. Smooth, rich and emotive, Chambord’s remix is a luscious escape into airy melodics and building drums. Parra for Cuva's sonic identity can be encapsulated in a single word: Wanderlust. Renowned for a distinct sense of worldliness, his music, combined with stunning visuals, creates a magical realm where the resonance of Caribbean steel drums may intertwine with ancient Zimbabwean instruments and transports the listener to distant lands. Now delivers Mimose an enchanting musical track that journeys into the realms of ambient music. Rising UK producer Mazoulew releases new single Invisible Man, distributed via The Orchard / Relentless Records. Mazoulew’s Invisible Man marks the lead single and first release from his forthcoming INVISIBLE MAN EP set to drop in April. Setting the stage, Invisible Man fuses elements of electronica / downtempo with hip hop flavours and hypnotic string arrangements making for an deep and hard hitting single.Discussing the new body of work Mazoulewreveals how the return to city life has impacted the new direction of his sound. “Coming back to London in 2023 took some adjustment, It’s quite easy in a place like this to end up buried in the ground noise and becoming somewhat invisible to your environment. My latest track Correlation (Numen Records) is about positive and dramatic connections, experiences are often more powerful when shared with others. I really enjoyed the flow in making this, it was one of those tracks where it all came together naturally with ease. It expresses tenderness with deep passion and elation of things to come. The label is the third imprint under the Anjuna umbrella, founded by British trio Above & Beyond.
