Emotional downtempo electronica and Café del Mar artist & compiler Gelka has an album out called Connection. “A lot of connections with new collaborations, with new dreamy vibes and with myself finding new sources of music. I hope you like the new songs.” Dark Euphoria has an undeniable, powerful beauty that lures and captivates with openness and vulnerability. I’m loving making music with the gifted Mozez (Numen Records), his voice is sublime and our flow is pure. I started a new collaboration with Peter Musebrink / Deep Dive Corp. No Western was much fun to make and the real instruments give the track a unique and human feel, I look forward to doing more with Peter. The stunning debut ambient album from Fred Everything’s new project All Is Well is out. A Break In Time is an ambient album written during the lockdown as a sort of calming therapy / meditation exercise. The project quickly took form with a unique sonic identity and message inspired by this feeling isolation felt during that time. The album is about fragility, naivety, contemplating our vulnerability but also of our resilience and the feeling of alone / together. With meticulous attention to detail, Soulva (DeepWit Recordings) presents us with a phenomenal dance oriented single Aurora. Soulva's skilful fusion of deep house mood, batucada rhythms and emotive melodies takes you on a mesmerizing and remarkable journey. The Anjunadeep Explorations compilation returns for its 25th instalment. Responsible for breaking label-favourite acts like CRi, Simon Doty and Luttrell, the various artist series champions burgeoning electronic music talent, with this edition featuring six label debuts of the nine tracks in the compilation. The stand out tracks for me are Feiertag's Matic which is a moody track fusing syncopated, organic rhythms with warm electronic melody and fragmented vocal samples. The Dutch producer is also makes his label debut on Anjunadeep Explorations 25, having previously released on labels such as Last Night On Earth and Majestic Casual. Raphael Mader is a Munich-based producer who has previously released on Yotto's Odd One Out label, delivers a suspenseful melodic house track called Right On. ASHE, who has previously released on Anjunadeep's ambient and downtempo imprint Reflections as part of compilation Reflections 03. ASHE has also released on Deadmau5's renowned label Mau5trap. Moment is an atmospheric breakbeat track featuring the enchanting vocals of featured Californian artist Midnite Amity. I Have Places in High Friends by Adam After Hours is the first single from his album by the same name. Inspired by long nights and some of the last highs before the night begins to wind down. Tom Brownlow, known for his engaging and diverse music style, releases a new album under his alias Sentica. The album, titled Ethereal Shift, a harmonious blend of indie and electronica, infused with deep, chill, and ambient tones. This creative direction marks a continued evolution in Brownlow's artistic journey. In honour of its 15th anniversary Mike Spirit’s Highway Records label releases the compilation Highway XV. 15 brand new remixes of the bestselling tracks from the label's discography, created by the leading musicians of the Russian electronic scene. From deep and organic house to indie dance and progressive. I’m a big fan of Dave Pad and Spieltape so I knew their collaboration would be great. The 11th installment of the Stil vor Talent Berlin compilation series, which brings forth a group of old and new faces exclusively contributing tracks, gathered under the umbrella of one of Berlin’s refreshing delights – Spreepark. 3rd Avenue marks the return of Argentine producer Exe Cruz to the label, this time with his debut EP titled Drawn Symphony. Hailing from San Juan, Exe Cruz initially made his label debut a few months ago with a stellar remix for Yumi Kobayashi. Notably, he also crafted several remixes for the sub label Future Avenue in the past. 3rd Avenue also warmly welcomes Pinkowitz to the label with Growth In The Dark, I went for the Dave Leck Introspective Mix. This talented American artist, originally hailing from Dalles, Texas and now residing in Denver, Colorado, embarked on his production journey in collaboration with his partner Ricardo Angeles. Their debut took place on the sixth Correlation compilation under the Sound Avenue label in 2022. Since then, Pinkowitz has been making waves with releases on respected labels like Amalunga, The Purr, Be Adult Music, Singularity Records, and our very own Daydreamers label, where he contributed a beautiful ambient track. Joe Goddard Injects his signature sonic identity into Kaleida’s haunting and ethereal Hollow. Brimming with silky melodics, soaring pads and the duo’s iconic vocal work, Goddard’s interpretation of Hollow transports the original into a deep, emotive soundscape, nodding to its predecessor whilst introducing touches of dancefloor-ready grooves. Atone have been producing and performing a myriad of eclectic electronic dub styles since the early 1990s, and have played to crowds at the Big Day Out, World Party Festival (U.K), All Funked Up, Rob's Party @ La Hacienda (Manchester), have supported Tack head, Stone Roses, Adrian Sherwood, Audio Active, ACR, the Happy Mondays, DJ Scanner, On-U Sound System, and remixed for Neneh Cherry. Chris Zippel is born and raised in Berlin and has spent his adult life between his home town and the island of Ibiza. Entering the music world at the age of 15 and has been an industry professional for his entire adult life. He has written music with the Pet Shop Boys, produced with Robbie Williams, Schiller, Snap, Norah Jones, Paul Van Dyk, the German Band Ich & Ich and the singer Adel Tawil. Early and throughout his career he has created and supported underground Projects & DJs from all over the world. He has a collaboration with Bahramji from spending time with him in Ibiza and their track Ghazal is out now. Based in Tunisia, Different Ray returns to Loot Recordings with his first proper EP after several contributions to the label’s “The Goods” compilation series. The release showcases Different Ray’s exceptional talent and features stunning remixes from Madraas, Mark Slee and vocals by Alex Donofrio. The Alex Donofrio Late Night Version in this mix is a gorgeous downtempo chillout rendition by Alex Donofrio himself. It’s the perfect soundtrack for those serene sunsets or late-night moments to unwind and get lost in the sounds. Inspired by Jean-Michel Jarre, Moby, Vangelis, Ulrich Schnauss, Tangerine Dream, and composing for over 20 years with Six albums under his belt, Three Fields creates beautiful ambient / electronic music. Radio airplay from Gideon Coe (BBC6 Music) , then plays from the Freak Zone on BBC 6 has also led to press support from Crack in the Road and No Fear of Pop. His track Breeze is available now and has a really nice chilled vibe to it. The hype around Disclosure's masterful Alchemy release is sending club culture upside down! Keeping that fire burning, four top-of-their-craft artists, Barry Can't Swim, ATRIP, Leo Pol, and Narciss provide a treat of remixing magic with Yunè Pinku twisting Higher Than Ever into a fantastically slower-paced jungle masterpiece.
