The Chillout Lounge Mix - Live Stella Polaris

My recent live DJ set from the sublime Stella Polaris, the world’s biggest chillout festival, held in Copenhagen, Denmark.
A mix born from love and the important little details, crafted with care, intention and emotion. It moves through deep cinematic ambience and reflective grooves to joyful after-dark tracks.

I’d like to thank all the organisers of the festival who made me feel welcome before even arriving. I had such an amazing day hanging out listening to all the other acts and met some truly wonderful people.

In my set, I offered something truly real, a sound I’ve been building for years through this podcast, which is an emotional, musical diary of my life. It wasn’t just a mix. It was a transmission. A journey through heartbreak, joy, stillness, connection, and fire including beautiful Stella Polaris label sounds which deeply resonate.

Looking back, I realise that music has always been my way of alchemising experience into something beautiful. I’ve spent years refining my emotional language through sound, and people feel it. They’ve told me it’s inspired them to move, breathe, cry, and remember who they are.

Now I’m at a point where I can truly express, elevate, and expand. There’s a deep peace at the base, strength in the silence. And from this grounded place, the energy flows with more clarity and power than ever before. This set was a celebration of that. Of what it means to arrive, not at a destination, but in yourself. And from there, I’ll keep giving.

The night before I did a street party which was a freestyle mix and in celebration of 3 Days of Design. This was a lovely introduction to Copenhagen for me, so many smiles and nice comments about the music I played and a nice cheer at the end. “For the third year in a row, the design house Normann, the venue Hotel Cecil and aera have joined forces to throw a party in the street where we all live, while the design festival 3daysofdesign takes place in Copenhagen. The area is covered with Normann furniture, Hotel Cecil provides the bar.”

I also did the festival after party which was great fun and led by one of the most instantly fun people I’ve met, Nilu (Nikolaj Lund), check out his quality sounds. Such positive feedback from the people on my more lively set and it was great to do such a variety of sounds / energies over the whole weekend.

Lastly I would like to say, your wings are yours, don’t let anyone or anything clip them… Nobody owns the sky, so fly free.
