The Chillout Lounge Mix - Life Story
My Life Story expressed through frequency and now I see
Introducing a very deep, out of the ordinary, super special mix about a big part of my life story. There are a couple of unreleased Tim Angrave tracks at the end. Let me know if you’d like these released on Bandcamp or if you’d like me to start a music label based on the podcast? I've thought about this for a long time and have the wonderful Pete Gooding to advise on the best way to do this.
We all have difficult situations through life which can be the worst and the best things to happen after reflection and time if we can swith the perception. (ie 2 people can have the same experience, 1 may feel like a victim and the other could see it as character building eventually).
I “see” myself and am in touch with a lot of the human skills we lose through school (fortunately I was day-dreaming mostly and enjoying the socialising aspect and sports so have kept in touch with my body / mind connection. We as humans are not designed to sit around all day just using our brains, the biggest killer is lack of movement so get your dancing shoes on people! The number 1 function of the brain is body movement. I’ve made music to heal within and it gives me a great life purpose, helping other people along the way, a natural indirect no pressure healing. The only thing we know of that lights up every part of the brain is music.
I’ve had logic and memory problems when under serious stress so learning languages in a logical way has been impossible, the universal language of music is something I can express in my usual creative freestyle manner. I did 20 years on vinyl freestyling / flowing, then years on Traktor and Ableton which are a dream for me as I could really explore the smooth long Sasha-like transitions and get used to the same setup wherever I went. I saw a program on clever wildlife birds and they said the main thing that makes humans the cleverest is their ability to imagine future events (like F1 drivers for example, memorising turns). I think for DJing, to level up, the programming turns a good DJ into a great DJ (quote from John Digweed I think?). Mix this with freestyle to take into consideration the crowd, having a few tracks that are made for blending with each other with the ability to switch direction at any time around the environment is gold to me.
I’ll be sharing more on my website. There will be guest mixes from my friends who have had an impact on my music and I’m keen to hear any of my listeners’ ideas. I’m going back through my Instagram remembering and describing some of my experiences and memories to reconnect with people, usually in a funny way as this is also one of the best healers as a good friend reminded me recently. I will also share more real life no “bovine excrement” randomness that means something to me, so feel free to jump onboard and enjoy the non-bravado truth of myself (never telling anyone else what they “should do”) weird and wonderfull’ness, or crack on with your own things and drop me if it doesn’t resonate. I’m finally ready for trolls, I’ll just ask Ricky Gervais how to deal with them in a funny way and offer him some dog experiences :-).
The tracks in this mix include the awakening / transformation / re-awareness of my true self and capabilities, along with the highs and lows that make life more interesting, dynamics and variety are the spice of life as they say.
I will say (with regard to my awakenings) the biggest misconception about medicine is “That the body and mind can be treated separately.”
If a doctor doesn’t ask about your sleep, your stress, your breath, your food, and your pain “all at once” you’re not getting medicine (usually just drugs). You’re getting a “patch”, not a “pattern reset.”
Your nervous system speaks through your gut.
Your gut trains your immunity.
Your breath steers your hormones.
Your emotions carve your tissues.
You are one being.
I’ve worked on a lot of new breathwork techniques recently, which I’ll drip feed through here on my website when I’ve had time to do videos etc and to get expert advice on what I have intuitively stumbled across naturally. I’ve meditated for weeks (instead of sleep I used upward anti-clockwise positive meditation spirals). I have also done breath holds with micro exhales for 15 minutes with zero stress, able to drink green tea along the way and only stopped at 15 minutes because it was so different from what’s been done before. (or recorded recently, it was totally natural 3000 years ago I believe, it’s nothing new, just an activation of what humans are capable of, when the 4 minute mile was broken, everyone did it). I have some interesting contributing beautiful imperfection. Current thinking is that a yawn is like a brain reset, not just a lack of oxygen there, this gave me some ideas for some of the techniques. Nerves and excitement are the same body process, this is why you’ll usually hear an athlete say they were “excited before a race.” Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it… Crying is the body’s built-in emotional detox system, combining chemical release, nervous system reset, and social signaling (When Bruce Lee set himself up before a fight, his emotional tears contained stress hormones like ACTH and leucine enkephalin (a natural painkiller). Crying literally flushes out stress-related biochemicals… More on this later when I do the breathwork page and know more scientifically what’s happening.
I want to enjoy the next few years and aimed to be wiser age 50. This Shoshin Mindset (embracing life as a continuous, unfolding mystery, where each moment is met in wonder, as if been seen for the very first time / beginner’s mindset) is so much fun, I may delay for another 10 years.
I made a track called Lose It with the utterly gifted and talented Mozez (Numen Records) (Our album Dreams is available now and includes Lose It). I sent him a poem based on my my health experiences, and he came up with stunning lyrics from that, one of the deepest connections I’ve had with anyone making music, powerful stuff!
Mind Games (Poem by Tim Angrave. Inspiration for the track “Lose It” ft. Mozez vocals)
Locked inside, eyes wide, hands tied
Clocks collide, tongue fried, denied
Feels forever, be clever, make free
Own path, endeavour, must see
Pure love asked try, found why
Glove fits, flicked wrist, open sky
Deep meaning, corruption gleaning
Systemic feeling, erupt through ceiling
Cool, calm. collected, indebted
Ruling strong arm rejected, subjective
No need to forget, I forgive
I’m here, no regret, I give
Resentment not residual, no mean feat
Loving individual, balanced, complete…
Force drawn and carried
Illuminate, create, dropped hate
Eyes dilate, new dawn, parried
Initiate, new state, appreciate
Strong mind, lost grief
Left behind, grind teeth
One of a kind, complex, refined
Space, time, flexible opinion
Impart kindness until oblivion

The most difficult situations can in time be extremely positive if focus is on the strength and knowledge gained afterwards (as I said earlier). My poem called Mind Games was the inspiration for our (Mozez and I) track - Lose It. If you lose everything, you can appreciate the smaller, seemingly insignificant things in life and ultimately be better off in the long run.
The journey through adversity often unveils hidden strengths and insights. Inspired by the poem "Mind Games," "Lose It" encapsulates the idea that losing everything can lead to a profound appreciation for life's smaller moments, transforming our perspective and ultimately enriching our experiences. Embracing the lessons learned during tough times not only fosters resilience but also opens our hearts to the beauty of life's nuances, allowing us to emerge stronger and more fulfilled.
Lose It - Lyrics by Mozez (Numen Records)
Talk (Yeah you seeking for remedy the solution to your hurt .
You more than you think you're worth.
This is where we undo the pain
unlock the chains that binds your mind
nothing is yours nothing is mine.)
What can a man say
What can a man say now
What can a man do
What can do now
Can’t get no sleep
Can’t get no slumber
Got me on repeat( rep)
I’m just a number
Got me on repeat
until I found the hunger
Lose your head Free you mind
You’ve got to lose it all
For you, you to find
Lose your head..
Free your mind
You've got to lose it all
How can a man live
how can a man live now.
Tell me what's real
brother what's the deal now.
Got me on repeat
use me as a tool
Got to find a space to be where love's the only rule.
Lose your head Free you mind
You’ve got to lose it all
For you, you to find
Lose your head..
Free your mind
You've got to lose it all (rep)

Let’s Go Humans… Preferably with an animal, mainly dog’s at the moment with a view to the skies (birds) and travel (horses).
PS, I feel a huge connection and affinity with dogs… The beautiful Red Wolves who are an apex predator with only 1 enemy, humans are in mortal danger, there are less than 16 left in the wild. I’m pleading to any of my friends (rich or poor) to help in any way you can please... Even if it is just sharing this website link:
Thanks for tuning into my frequencies.
